  holy fucking fucking shitholy fucking fuckity fuck i didnt expect this to be so metaphorical it hit so close to home and i thought it was gonna be a nice lil demon story like sinister and holy shit i cried so hard i had to watch it in 2 sittings, bloody amazing movie loved it 10/10 if anyone disagrees that's aight with me i still had the most emotional experience with a movie ive had in years

  all I wanted to say is that it starts with a black screen with a Nietzsche quote and then another black screen with the "prime time, bitch" quote. Also, had to watch the first 20 minutes twice cause I fell asleep the first time.
  I liked the aesthetics though, early 90s all over.

  I liked the characters but the pro-life subtext made it very hard for me to enjoy the movie. Also they overused Freddy's backstory a lot, it's cool but gosh, focus on the protagonists and stop re-telling me stuff that I already knew about 2 movies ago. Not the worst slasher sequel but I probably won't rewatch unless I'm binge-watching the franchise :/
