  I'm a little sad because I wanted to LOVE it, but I liked it. Robert Pattinson was brilliant. There are some very powerful and important messages, but I think it needed to embrace just one or two and trim the fat; the film massively overstayed its welcome for me. It felt like two different films trying to work as one.

  Some bizarre music and editing choices aside, I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. Particularly liked the twist linking the main characters, though it was admittedly needed to stop the plot getting stale.

  The side characters were fine, though the wild detective subplot felt inconsequential. The villain reveal, while awesome, didn't really explain what it seems to think it did and left me unsatisfied. I don't want future films that may not have even happened to make…
