  It’s in such bad faith to compare this to Parasite, as they are drastically different films, and for good reason. The first hour didn’t really do much for me but the longer the film went on, the more I became engaged. Generational performance from Rob Pattinson as well.

  Phenomenal experience, way better than any of the legendary films. While the human drama was kind of predictable and safe, the action scenes kept me on the edge of my seat. Godzilla truly feels like an unstoppable force of nature, which is a perfect return to form. I also appreciated the thematic elements too, as they do elevate the role of the humans significantly. All in all, Godzilla Minus One thrives in its simplicity as an engaging reboot.
