This movie shines with it's disturbing and chill inducing video tape sequences but to me begins to sputter out towards the end with the reveal of the "monster" and the "monsters" "doers" IMO it takes this movie from eerie and out of the box to a more run of the mill horror film.

This is the 2nd time I think LVT struck gold, however this movie does have an issue I can't look past unlike Dogville. This movie clicked for me around the last 45 mins really well, however the first 1/3rd of this movie is plagued with seemingly unnecessary bloat that by the end doesn't feel like it matters, nor does it even introduce us to big players by the end of the movie.
