Had to pause while watching multiple times and start pacing around the room because of how much this made me feel miserable, hopeless, and also just plain angry (Alexa Blair’s character is so unbelievably detestable. Criminally underrated performance!) Which only made Sienna’s overwhelming strength and bravery that much more powerful for me. Leone’s love for her is so palpable.

Understands the immense weight of its violence so thoroughly and painfully. A genuine work of cinematic empathy. Sienna is my queen. Lauren deserves all the roles in all the movies! Film of the decade thus far!
Need pre-scientology, fucked up teeth, twink era Cruise more than I need air. And he’s not even the prettiest thing in this film!
Watched the theatrical. And while I’m certainly intrigued by the director’s cut I just can’t imagine this having a score composed by anyone other than Tangerine Dream.
