The Human Condition III: A Soldier's Prayer 1961
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The Human Condition trilogy (No Greater Love , Road to Eternity , A Soldier's Prayer ) should really be considered one single film. There's something about how this film is crafted which is more like a novel, and it feels odd to rate the first film separate to the context of the second or third.

Dersu Uzala 1975
Despite the academy award win, I feel like this film has fallen off the radar. It's difficult to find, and could really use some Criterion remastering love. Despite these caveats, this is one of my favourite Kurosawa films.
