This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Creative interpretation of Dr Manhattan as instead of focusing on his godly powers making him detached from humanity, they allow him to always be experiencing his most important memories all at the same point, making him even more human. This, and other reinterpretations, work in this updated version of Watchmen, that speaks on the issues we are more aware and are more relevant today. Much in the same way the original comic was focused on relevant themes back when it came out.
