  Ok sooo on a base level this movie is like captivating i guess, the acting is good and the cinematography is good, plus the director does a good job of making everything dramatic... But this movie is so wrong. On like every level. Historically completely inaccurate, white perspective of a colonialism story (always a red flag), dumbass white director, and deeply problematic on its own right. IN THIS MOVIE THE POCAHONTAS ACTOR IS 14!!!! SHE FUCKS A 35 YEAR OLD…

  Has not held up all that well in my opinion, but it was servicable and probably way cooler when it came out. The adventure aspect is always the best, but the nazi villains were pretty underwhelming and boring, and the action scenes were super uninteresting. Indy is also lowkey just a massive prick 💀

  Marion also felt like wasted potential as a character; a capable and daring companion turned into a damsel in distress for the rest of the movie. LAME. I remembered this movie being better.
