An absolutely incredible movie. I was blown away at how it was as touching and honest as it was absurd. The raw emotion that they managed to bring out of something so crazy is just a sight to behold. It’s just overwhelming with its pure sincerity and heart.

Brilliant performances from all the major players. Ke Huy Quan might have the best moments of this movie. As amazing as Michelle Yeoh and Stephanie Hsu are, Waymond is the heart of…

What a wild sequel to a Carpenter classic and I think I love it? It’s doesn’t take itself nearly as seriously as NY but it works in its advantage. Feels like Carpenter was taking a lot of his frustrations and cynicism about LA and Hollywood out in this and it rules. He knows what he wants to poke fun at and whether it’s plastic surgery or the decline of America, he doesn’t hold back.
I don’t know what I love more, Snake playing apocalyptic basketball to save his own life or him surfing a tsunami wave while Steve Buscemi tries to escape?

The best movie with an extended fight scene about wearing sunglasses. But seriously this movie kicks-ass. Roddy Piper goes from a 0 to a 10 with some of the stupidest but somehow most badass one liners and of course Keith David is a legend. We’re all victims of our capitalist overlords draining our life force and as dumb-fun as this movie is, there’s that underlying truth to it that makes it all the more enjoyable. Whenever I get mad about the powers that be, this is the movie I watch.
