  On my first watch i couldn’t understand the hype surrounding this film but i was determined to give it a chance again sometime in the future. 3 years later feeling lost in life and good god it all hits me like a ton of bricks i finally get it and i genuinely feel sick right now.

  this is probably one of the most beautiful, poignant films i’ve seen this year that gave me this weird almost like a deep, aching sensation in my chest. The cinematography, the colour, the subtlety and mundaneness of everyday’s life, the feeling of trapped and guilt i was experiencing together with Kanto. Everything was captured perfectly and I’m so glad to have stumbled upon this hidden gem.
