One of the most disappointing cinema experiences I've ever had. Full of ideas and ambition, yet eventually reveals itself as shamelessly hollow. What could have been the next Great American Film is reduced to a begrudging afterthought carried only by its almost masturbatory reason for existence. But that first half, my god.
