Give me all this that you’ve got. Fill my cup with fun Gladiator sequels, Ridley. Do more fighting animals. Walrus?
Strange how the movie can hit most of the key plot points of the book while excising all the things that made the book good. There’s no creeping dread here, no subtle cruelties by the townspeople. It’s cast well, though.
There are many bad movies, but this bad movie might be truly reprehensible. For the record, the music is not great either
No one reads this, and I reserve the right to be wrong, but I loved this. Michael Keaton was still a fun cretin, they mostly stuck to practical effects, and the script was zippy and fun. Best legacy sequel.
