Made me nostalgic and want to go back to being a kid in 2008. This movie does a really good job of capturing that environment from an Asian American perspective. Also reminded me that being that kid isn’t always easy and finding yourself and your friends was just as hard then as it is now.

Relies heavily on visuals which are very well done. Plot is easy to follow but doesn’t quite utilize all the uniqueness of the world that’s built around it. Overall very pleasing to watch as a sci fi lover

Can’t help but smile at the thought of this movie. The story is captivating and moving in both action sequences and dialogue scenes. The animation pulls everything together beautifully. And the score/soundtrack really highlights the emotion. Everything about it works! This is one of those films where everyone will find something to love about it
