Dune: Part Two 2024
the two dune films just don't make sense standalone--too many important details are missed from the book and the overall framing suffers as a result. the beat around paul carrying out his "destiny" with a resigned acceptance is lost--there is no inner conflict or sense of things spiraling out of paul's control when he sends the fremen to initiate the jihad.
