The editing was really the only thing that made this great. Austin Butler and Jodie Comer did well for their characters and Norman Reedus was a fun addition but I sort of expected more in terms of storyline. That’s sort of a hard argument for a movie being bad when it’s based on real life, tho 😅 Did this story deserve to be told? Sure. Did it need to be made into a film? Not so sure.

The Monkey 2025
Listen, this wasn’t meant to be a five star film and that’s okay. This is a love letter to 90’s kids who grew up loving Final Destination and the teeny boppers who still think Annabelle is a real and true story. And I think that’s really beautiful. 5 stars for fun. Gasped and covered my mouth more than one time, and if that’s not what we’re going to the theater for, idk what is.

First time I’ve actually felt scared during a movie in a LONG time. This movie made me feel the way I wanted Longlegs to make me feel.
This will definitely not be for everyone because I feel like the masses just love tacky horror and prefer not to sit through a droning film. But but the girls who get it, get it. I love a drone!! If you loved the VVitch this might be your vibe, but maybe not?? Folk horror…
