Wince at the tension amongst friends on holiday in the Pacific Northwest and then wince at the graphic injury detail once the titular wolves arrive. Stellar performance from Missy Peregrym, the location filming looked fantastic, but for the short length it was the ending could have done with a bit more bite.

As someone who likes the MCU- this is garbage and rotten to the core. By the eighth or ninth musical montage I realised that Ryan Reynolds' shtick finally found its match in Shawn Levy's direction in a perfectly off-putting blend. It's surprising that it's jokes are homophobic, ableist, and punching down anything that isn't in with the entirly hollow irreverence (that jarrs with a swing at emotional payoff).
