Hellboy: The Crooked Man 2024
Surprising what they were able to pull off with such a lackluster budget. Hellboy looks amazing & Jack Kesy does an amazing job stepping into big red’s shoes.
You’re immediately thrown into an adventure without any unneeded set ups. The filmmakers here assume the audience understands the world we’re in & gets right into the meat. The story feels grounded & creepy more a kin to an action horror than a fantasy or superhero film.
There is some questionable CGI when it’s used…
