    Still slaps.

    The excess of the first act transitioning sharply into the ugly chaos was so amazing. Garnik, Ivan and Toros add so much comedy to this nightmare of a situation. Garnik's adlibs were too good and never get old.

    Glad I watched it again because the cinema was almost completely full. Anora is definitely not for everyone and it's wild to think that the Academy awarded it so many Oscars.

    Ralph Fiennes does it again.

    I loved the building tension Conclave was able to achieve through an excellent score, grand atmosphere, impressive performances and majestic cinematography and colour schemes. You're transported into this simple yet political process and really get the sense that each each Cardinal's vote hangs in the balance.

    4.1? Wow, really?!?

    Maybe I was missing something but I didn't enjoy a single minute of this film. It was gloomy, dull and unsatisfying from the very start to the end credits. Maybe I'm just not the biggest fan of french cinema.

    By the end I was just laughing at the cuts to black between scenes, coupled with that irritating music. I really couldn't care less about the plot, because it just felt...aimless. Whatever, I'll watch the rest of this trilogy though.

    Also, Melancholia did the whole depression thing better.
