The final scene, where Héloïse sits in the theater, is absolutely unforgettable. You can feel every ounce of love and longing without a single word being spoken. This movie is pure art. Marianne making the "poet's choice" by looking back at Héloïse is so deeply meaningful. This whole movie left me in a state of longing for something, for them to work out but deep down I knew that they could never be together.
