  i feel like words can’t even begin to explain how much i adored this movie. i feel kind of speechless!!!! the cameo of harold perrineau from romeo + juliet??? dolly parton being a central theme???? MILLIE’S ENTIRE PERFORMANCE???? my god. what a beautiful movie about friendship, family, and keeping those we love alive after death. i can’t wait to show this movie to everyone i love. i’d give it a billion stars if i could.

  “I care more to be loved. I want to be loved” greta gerwig you absolute fucking genius, a beautiful story about everything girlhood encompasses. as a nonbinary person it’s very hard to find something that makes you feel seen in the ways you used to connect to womanhood— to childlike whimsy in all forms. 

  it is much more than what it means to be a woman. it’s what it means to be a person, to have agency, to love, to keep hold of your character. greta gerwig we fucking love you, there will never be anyone like you again
