Poor Things 2023
Vulgar, wacky, hilarious... just a few ways to describe the wonderfully strange tale of Bella Baxter. The first few scenes of the film had me slightly perplexed, and in all honesty a bit worried as to what it had in store... However, once Bella is whisked away by the charming and dazzling Duncan (followed by lots of furious jumping) the movie really picks up speed, giving the audience a lot to ponder upon. Thoroughly enjoyed, if only i didn't have someone's head covering half the screen at the cinema.
