Okay, let me start this off by saying that I loved the stage musical. I was in it when I was thirteen years old so I connected with it a lot. Jojo Rabbit 2019
This movie is great! Somehow, through Taiki Waiti’s expert directing, he was able to project something so terrible like life in Nazi Germany and the Holocaust as comedic. Young Jojo’s quest to become the best friend of his Führer is rather entertaining as he both literally and figuratively gets shot down. All together, a great movie, masterfully directed and done. 4/5 stars.
