  I found the story interesting and the cinematography gorgeous, and I discovered that it’s the same director and cinematographer who worked on The Lighthouse. What a great pair! Makes sense—both are visually stunning films. They also both happen to feature Willem Dafoe acting his ass off.

  I also appreciated the intentional use of lighting. It really set the atmosphere and framed some of the shots beautifully.

  I appreciate the film's non-linear plot, which seamlessly intertwines moments from the past and present, illustrating what it feels like to move on from someone.

  As I navigate through a similar situation, I found myself relating to the emotional highs and lows of the story. The film perfectly captures my conflicted state of mind. My feelings oscillate between happiness and sadness, depending on whether I’m honoring memories of joy and intimacy or reflecting on times of hurt and pain.

  “As written.”

  I had a great experience seeing this in IMAX, but my only complaint was that it was unfathomably loud. I understand the intention of an immersive experience, but I felt like my entire existence was shaking. However, the massive screen was perfect for capturing the world of Dune and its incredible action sequences.

  I wouldn't be surprised if I bumped this rating to a 5 stars upon a second viewing; it’s incredible. I was just a little overwhelmed.…
