There are some good horror elements to this, such as the opening scene and several others I enjoyed but compared to Get Out the story is just so messy.
I really tried hard to like it more, but the amount of questions left without any explanation by the end just annoys me a bit, I did have a good-ish time watching but I expected something a little better.
This is one I've been meaning to watch for a while, 10 Oscar nominations, with Brady Corbet and Adrien Brody already winning Golden Globes I knew I was behind.
Luckily, 3+ hours does work thanks to really good film editing, the characters are deep and well written and that cinematography is just brilliant.
Watching it was a really big commitment for me though as I don't regularly watch movies of this length but Guy Pearse CARRIED. Not for everyone have to say but an excellent watch.
It's great but probably not as good as some people make it out to be, it's not as good as the first GOTG and is not the best MCU film but it is such a satisfying ending.
