Emily Brontë…perhaps my favourite of the Brontë sisters… this is a wonderful, but edgy, dramatic and somewhat ahistorical homage to her life and work. Easy recommend for literature fans.
I think the mark of a beautiful film is one where every frame could be a photograph in itself and I feel that this movie certainly succeeds in this regard. Watch it for the cinematography (and soundtrack) if nothing else.
