  don't think i ever watched something where i've felt every character's own emotions so clearly as if they were my own. heartbreaking and thought provoking and extremely timely, this is story telling at it's absolute best.

  One of the FIRST scenes we see of this film is Una (Rooney Mara) naked in a shower with her breasts on show, the camera ogling and sexualising her body. And that is how a film about child sexual assault starts which should tell you everything you need to know tbh.
