I’ve never been the fella to review a movie, but here I am.
This movie spoke out to me on multiple levels.
First of course, as a major sports fan, I loved the vintage appeal of this film - glorious Forbes Field, Pittsburgh: the site of Mazeroski’s walk-off that broke my father’s heart; the land of Carey, the brothers Waner, Vaughn, Kiner, and Clemente; The House of Thrills. Not to mention, there’s some nice footage of old Pittsburgh, Wrigley Field…
