Nothing happened that affected anything , he went to space , commandeered a spacecraft he stowed away on , went got his dad , his dad died he blew up his dads work and he just went home and it wasn’t even entertaining, one of the worst brad pitt movies i’ve seen , however his acting is very good , just terrible very boring story, it would’ve been bette r if he ended up continuing his fathers research and continued his journey through space , not just go home.
