  A fascinating Yugoslavian science-fiction movie masterfully driven by its dialog and characters on a budget that seemed to be just enough to feed the crew.

  I don't think I have seen a more philosophical film that came out of Yugoslavia, it's one of the best in the region.

  A bit too "Anime" at points it doesn't need to be, but the aesthetic is on point. The investigative part was mostly pretentious especially the main detective, every line he had was an eyeroller.
  The message of the movie was pretty obvious even more so when characters tell it outright. The style of it all is what saves the movie in the end.
