Better than expected. Underlying ingredients were there, but not executed as good as I wish it did. Was almost too simple and too complicated at the same time with the political and family aspect without complex enough characters, besides Denzel’s. Pretty enjoyable in theaters, where this should be watched. Action scenes done well for most part, which to be honest are probably the driver of the my decent rating, and the overarching themes of honor and family do feel genuine enough.

Twisters 2024
Entertaining, good pace, executes what it wants to be well. While overall the movie is predictable , the action scenes are done well and the twisters are arguable the stars of the show, with solid performances by Daisy and Glen. Definitely something to see in theaters if you can.

Go into it not knowing what you’re getting into, and you’re likely not going to enjoy it. But once you know that this is just trying to be a wild spectacle beyond what you’ve seen before and beyond belief, as well as knowing it’s gonna be cheesy, and if you can enjoy that, then you should have a great time. Hugely entertaining as long as you take it for what it is, and can appreciate the absurdity of it all.

Incredible cinematography, I think acting and story telling just slightly prevents this from reaching 5 stars, but that isn’t to say those aspects weren’t still solid. If you have the chance to see this in theaters, you have to do it.
