This is a film that has it's heart in the right place in many ways, unfortunately it is a shame it's not a better film on a fundamental level. More creative or interesting cinematography would have served it better, though I guess the sort of made-for-tv quality kind of grounds it and gives some of the crazy stuff that happens more impact because everything around is filmed in a very mundane and matter of fact way.

Jesus this is trash. Some of the worst cinematography I've seen in years. You need to actually know how to light shit in black and white.

Solidly ok, I have some gripes but nothing to write home about.
Had higher hopes after Night House which was one of my favorite movies of last year and is probably in my top ten favorite horror movies of all time but they can't all be home runs.
