I recently watched this film for the first time and quickly became one of my favorites. Anthony Quinn is at the top of his acting skills. Actually all the cast did great. Mikos Theodorakis music score and the memorable dancing scene at the end are just iconic. But above all, what hit me about this movie was the vitalism it transmits, how it teaches that 'simple' things are the most relevant and that life is here to enjoy it. Highly recommended if you are feeling down or depressed. It will bring you up!
