Visuals and cinematography are great.
My interpretation of the plot. The crime K is said to have committed is irrelevant and is about authority punishing those who look too close into how society functions. Most of the characters in the background of the film are just going through the motions and are just cogs in a machine. K defies authority by defending himself rather than submitting, regardless of his innocence or guilt.
