Works in so many ways. It’s such an easy watch. The colors are natural and bold. It’s so raw that it feels like a documentary for the first half. The slow realizations of the bathtub scenes are expertly subtle. “Did that guy have to pee again?” is the line of the movie.
The quality of the kid performances cannot be overstated. Brooklynn Prince steals the movie. Her last scene is remarkable. I could watch this movie again right now.
