  Two leads are fantastic and it sure is SHOT ENTIRELY ON 35MM FILM (gorgeous!) but the ending fizzles and I don’t think all of the odd structuring and conceit worked all that well. 

  Plus - the scene with the two cops absolutely clunks.

  Enjoyed the buildup even if it felt a bit stock? Last act makes some moves that felt a bit unearned though.

  Liked it more when it was being funny than trying to be tense.
