  nothing will ever match the beauty of 90s Japanese animation. I always leaned towards psychological horror in animation format because the limits are truly where the animator decides this is “too much”.

  Yet, there wasn’t an excessive amount of gore or direct horror, rather an extension of absolute real life scenarios as a woman. The unrequited psychosis caused by another human will always be scarier than supernatural symbols.
