!!! If you look into this film, the characters display predatory behavior and disregard necessary social barriers between adults and children. There is not one healthy relationship in the movie. Adults are made to go out of their way to do favors for Max and all kids. Adults act like kids and kids act like adults (flat decision makers). Mary (adult teacher) never really stops Max (15y/o) from coming on to her sexually. There are a lot of hints at pedophilic tones in this movie and it's honestly so problematic, despite its entertainment value. I feel like it shows the true colors of Wes Anderson.
