We thought we might start a chain reaction that might destroy the entire world.
    What of it?
    I believe we did

It might be the most basic quote to pull from this movie but it leaves you absolutely devastated walking out the theater and the way Nolan was able to manipulate that moment to make it end that way, with that much weight and severity was downright incredible.

    I don’t think there’s been a movie over the last few years,…

If this is the only sentence of the only review you read of mine, go watch this movie.

This is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. The integration of futuristic sci-fi and old time philosophy was amazing. The cinematography was outstanding. The action sequences were brutal and breathtaking. And the story kept me interested until the last second.

Logan Marshall Green was absolutely perfect. Between the heartbroken widow and the revengeful stupid/AI he played a perfect character. Balancing…

This was one of the strongest first 20 I think I’ve seen from Robert Eggers. The start of this made me think I was about to see him possibly top The Northman (not really, never gonna happen) but once we got to the second act it became a DRAG. Just way too much exposition for a second act. Trying really hard to be stylistic. Which I get is his style and I love Robert Eggers more than most but it…

It took me from release to now to give this a second chance. And yea, it’s got some technically good stuff in it. Robert Pattinson is really good but it’s just not all it’s cracked up to be. It’s too in its own head for its own good. It spends so much time trying to be a mythological metaphor it forgot to be a good movie

A historically appropriate, realistic, brutal action movie? Yes please.

I don’t want to say I’m a HUGE Robert Eggers fan but I think he’s a phenomenal Director and I was really excited for this even though I was disappointed in The Lighthouse (don’t kill me Letterboxd fam. I know it’s amazingly well done, I just don’t like it). And this exceeded my expectations.

From the opening scene I was glued to the big screen. It doesn’t hurt I love Nordic…

Not what I expected at all but I’m ok with that.

Like most I really like what Jordon Peele has done so far even though I do have some reservations for Get Out and Us. And this was addition to that. A really good movie with some things I wasn’t too keen on but still enjoyed as a whole.

The movie is REALLY slow to start and I think is one of the only two bigger problems with the movie.…
