Presence 2024
This movie could have been 5 stars with a few minor tweaks. They could have done more with the story, cleaned up some of the acting (mainly by the “Ryan” character), and made it a little scarier, but other than that I was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t really call it a horror movie because it’s not scary even a little bit, but it’s a slow burn and finds a way to keep you intrigued the whole time, even with little happening.
Very uniquely filmed, gives you a unique perspective on what’s unfolding. I don’t think everyone will like it but I definitely did.

Well that was… something. It had all the right pieces, but ended up feeling like a knock-off, hornier version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. And WAY less scary.
The ending didn’t work for me. Was Count Orlok so preoccupied feasting on her that he forgot he was gonna incinerate when the sun came up? At least we got to see her tits I guess
Bill Skarsgard is one of my favorite actors but his talents were completely useless as Count Orlok.…

A Different Man 2024
This movie could’ve been a 4.5 potentially if it didn’t go off the rails in the last third of the movie. It was setting up nicely and then just kind of lost its direction and got incoherent. Still a good movie though
