  Stunning and moving film poetry. Angelopolous creates an incredibly ethereal but at the same time all encompassing account of humankind's search for answers. The cinematography is incredible and every scene was tinged with an unexplainable but overwhelming melancholy, matched by a tour de force performance from one of my favorites, Harvey Keitel. Truly one of the most unique, beautiful, and incredible film experiences I've had.
