  SPOILERS:
  i felt equally perturbed and intrigued, which are two emotions that are incredibly difficult to produce side by side. every reaction this film garnered from me felt deeply incongruous, if i laughed I felt that i shouldn’t, if i felt drawn in by the life the Hoss family were living, i felt pulled back by the uneasy sense of knowing what was going on in the background.
