Anyone expecting the narrative economy of Parasite or even Snowpiercer will be sorely disappointed. In terms of pure structure and characterization Mickey 17 is a bit of a mess, but it’s such a big, idiosyncratic swing it’s had to care. Pattinson is just as great as you heard.
