  I don’t even know what to say. This is such a stunning cinematic achievement that left me genuinely emotional and mentally ravaged. I was nervous of the quick-cut story telling at first, but Nolan handled it so well and the allegory of mutually assured destruction between two men and two political systems was brilliant. I could’ve watched so many more hours of this it was so brilliant. The score, the sound, the performances, the gravity, the pacing; he nailed it all.

  I’ll be honest with y’all (confession corner)… I get a lot of insecurity around the holidays, so this one really spoke to me. Giamatti and Randolph are rockstars; shades of Licorice Pizza in a way for this one. A weirdly cold but cozy holiday movie
