Gorgeous and fun film. A bit convoluted towards the (kind of abrupt) end.
Turnip head is the best character and I would die for him.

A fun adventure film with fantastic lore and an interesting cyberpunk-esque motive.
Too bad they failed to bring a truly satisfying ending and decided to leave so much of the much more interesting lore on the wayside.
I would be interested in a sequel that finishes up the story, but since it's been five years since the first one... I am assuming that won't happen.

Before Sunrise 1995
The way this film, as well as the two sequels, portrays love is stunning. While seemingly not much happens, the authentic-feeling moments kept me hooked through the impeccable writing and delivery by Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke. Do yourself a favour and watch the sequel after a while to give yourself the necessary time to process and fully appreciate this story.
