  At this point, Jodorowsky must be so far up his own ass that he probably coughs up hairballs. This is especially impressive considering the fact that you'd need the world's biggest asshole to accommodate the world's biggest head.   Kore-eda is one of the only filmmakers I've seen be able to make such ordinary scenes feel so poetic. Every moment in this feels so significant, even if it's just a small exchange between characters. This movie perfectly captures the beauty and sorrow of life and family with a subtlety I don't often find anywhere else.
