I get why films do it, but when the writing relies on showing the story from a character’s point of view in order to trick the viewers, it just seems kinda lazy to me.
Instead of writing in good red herrings, the plot leans on a fragmented partly truth, partly fiction story telling of events to make up for what would be a mediocre twist. Since the viewer doesn’t know they are seeing a fabricated telling of story until the…

Sometimes it’s easy to judge, to look down on others, to write someone off based off a quick glance.
But what’s really challenging is to fix your eyes on themselves in the mirror and stare into your own, asking yourself if you’re really that different from those you judge.
If there’s a character study better than Taxi Driver I sure as hell haven't seen it.

I’d waste any lovely night just to watch this movie. On second thought, watching this movie makes any night, a lovely one.
