Lee’s disillusionment arc is absolutely fantastic and was elevated by the climax of her mentorship of Jessie. Fantastically written, shot and acted. This may age to be Garland’s best work bar Ex-Machina.

Another very solid entry into this amazing franchise. Probably not as good as the last couple instalments imo but there’s so much potential here. The dynamic of apes trying to just survive vs humans who feel like they’ve lost what’s rightfully there’s is relentlessly intriguing.
