Rango starts off as an adult animation film feeding on dark humor. Rango is a lonely chameleon who lost his mind by living his whole life in an aquarium, and we watch him break out of his cage of lies - by mistake - and "find himself".

I enjoyed watching this mad chameleon.

The first bit is too dark for children. But, seems like the story on water issues is dealt with as if it was for children.
