  why do the female characters not feel like real people at all. no depth. just manic pixie dream girl faye wong and one dimensional mob boss woman. love the direction though cool as hell. and cranberries :)

  this film fucking sucks. i hope foreigners don’t think this is what belfast is like, they exaggerate and make a parody out of themselves and our culture. i didn’t realise in belfast we’re all meant to have pistols in our back pockets and can shoot in the street without any police being called. the direction wasn’t even bad but the story it tells was shite. and why are the bad guys just anyone who doesn’t support drug dealing??

  although i WILL say. it’s a pleasure to hear so much irish language in a film. more of that please, with less shit premises
