This movie was “wicked” fine. Best thing about it was the pacing, as it flew by. Everything else was good not great. They ruined Defying Gravity for me by stopping the song every 5 seconds. Still interested in part 2, but I think musical movies just aren’t really my thing

I wanted a dumb easy to watch movie and I got it. Not a good movie, but there’s some kernels of joy in there. Lisa Kudrow is by far the best part.

I feel like this movie is going to be very divisive coming on the heels of Parasite, but at the end of the day this movie is just really fun. It’s basically Okja but good. It raises some interesting questions, but doesn’t waste much time dwelling on the philosophical and ethical questions and instead whips by in a relentless, absurd manner. Robert Pattinson acts his ass off and Mark Ruffalo continues his streak of playing weird overconfident jackasses. This movie has MAJOR pacing issues and the third act was kind of a mess, but it didn’t affect my overall enjoyment too much. Love me some Bong
